Steve Nash held his 4th annual Showdown in Chinatown benefiting the Steve Nash foundation June 22nd. It was a huge success, a little rain did not dampen their spirits on the field. Hundreds of fans surrounded the Sara D. Roosevelt Park to cheer on the guys. Teams consisted of star studded NBA players Tony Parker, Grant Hill, Jared Dudley, Raja Bell, Brandon Jennings, Leandro Barbosa and Marcin Gortat who tried their very hardest to keep up with guys like Giuseppe Rossi of Spain’s Villareal,Demba Baof England’s West Ham United, and of course, Youri Djokael and Patrick Vieira, a pair of 1998 World Cup Champions with France.
Steve Nash's brother Martin, brother in law Manny Malhotra and father John also got in on some action playing on Nash's team, which ended up coming up on top! Here are a few photos from the event and recap video of all the excitement at the fourth annual Steve Nash Charity showdown in Chinatown.
